About MeI began my career with a BA in Humanities (emphasis in Holistic Health) from New College of California and training in massage therapy. My avocation was dance in various forms, meditation (including dance meditation), and improvisation (including dance, contact, theatrical, and mime). A desire to share my blessings and use my holistic healing background in a larger arena led me to pursue a Master’s in Community Health Nursing. I am a black belt certified Nia Instructor, and a former WellCoaches certified Health and Wellness Coach.
While I have always been a natural sciences geek, I also have strong background in alternative and complementary therapies. I started out as a massage therapist. I'm driven by curiosity, a love of learning, and understanding cultural perspectives that are different from my own. I cherish what I have learned from the following experiences:
